I appreciate they released the full report with the multitude of emails. Don’t need to take anyone’s word for it (i.e. the summary on that site) just download and read through the email correspondence inside the report… It is far more damning than the summary even..
They basically started with the conclusion that it was not from a lab and searched for rationalisations and evidence to skew the story that way. The internal justification was it would be bad for “science” if it was determined to come from a lab (also bad for international harmony), you know what is worse for “science”? politicising science then getting caught out as you did it so ineptly...
